Gateshead Cycles - The Mountain Bike Specialists, has been in the one place since 1973 meeting cyclist needs making it one of Newcastle's oldest shops. The shop was integral to the forming of the Hunter Mountain Bike Association, the oldest and one of the biggest and best mountain bike clubs in Australia, the shop still supports the club and has many strong links to its members.
We will discuss your cycling needs and help find a range of bikes to suit them, then assist you with your choice whether it be a push trike or bike, BMX, cycleway bike, fitness, commuting, recreational or competition mountain or road bike.
We specialize in all bike sales, servcie and repairs. All our staff are committed cyclists, and want to introduce you to or further your enjoyment in cycling.
Lowest prices for longer, we price our bikes at the start of the season before Xmas to get you the best deal, and we keep as much stock as we can at store. Ourservice and reparis are performed by experienced mature mechanics, we do a great job at a great price so you've got more to spend on your ride.
If you are interested in the high end range of bikes we have DEMO bikes available (subject to conditions) for you to help make the correct informed decision.
We offer our bicycle customers 12.5% off accessories that are not on sales, we noa have a VIP section on this site, join online and we'll send out sales and specials info so you'll be the first to now if that bike you want is even cheaper. We'll inform you of upcoming events and you can keep track of our local rider's progress.
